Seal on a hydraulic system serves to prevent leakage from a system that moves reciprocally (up/down, right/left). Hydraulic rubber seals can be grouped into 4 types, namely Piston seal (located on the Piston), Rod Seal (located on the Housing), Guide Ring (to avoid friction between the piston and the cylinder), and Dust Seal (to prevent dirt from entering the system).
PU (Polyurethane) This type of rubber has excellent physical resistance, is strong against pressure, is elastic, does not tear easily. Often used for Seals, insert Couplings, Rollers, Etc.
Then Polyurethane has the advantage of friction resistance and has a higher hardness than rubber. However Rubber is also durable, but is prone to degradation due to repeated stretching or stress.
